Basic Obedience I
In-Home 6-Week Private Lessons
We will provide you with the tools and tricks to teach your pet how to be a well-mannered companion right in the privacy of your own home.
We come to you each week for an hour, training both you and your pet in the five (5) basic commands of climb, sit, stay, down and heel. As we progress through the weeks, you'll learn new commands with our final lessons out in dog friendly stores.
Duration: 6-Weeks
Cost: $550.00
This class is also offered for $500.00 if meeting at the Brooklin Fire Department.
Basic Obedience II
In-Home 6-Week Private Lessons
Our Basic Obedience II class takes your training to the next level. This class works on distance and distractions both off-leash and e-collar. A great class for those RVing, hiking and anywhere you take your pet off leash.
Duration: 6-Weeks
Cost: $550.00
This class is also offered for $500.00 if meeting at the Brooklin Fire Department.
Board & Train
4-week stay at Rocky Ridge Dog Training Academy
Our Board & Train is a 4-week program where your dog is boarded at Rocky Ridge Dog Training Academy for the entire duration of training and taught the following five (5) basic commands of climb, sit, stay, heel and down.
Each week you will meet with Maxine and your dog to go over training updates and participate in learning each of the commands your dog has learnt for that week. Our goal is to make every owner and pet the very best they can be. As we train with a balanced approach, your pet will be taught on both a prong and e-collar. As you progress each week with your training, you will also be taught how to use your dog's equipment correctly.
What's included: Board, Kennel, Daily Training (several times per day)
What's not included: Dog Food
Duration: 4-Weeks
Cost: $2,000.00
Payment Options: $2,000.00 prior to commencement of training, or $1,000.00 at pick up and $1,000.00 at drop off.
Location: Rocky Ridge Dog Training Academy
Additional Equipment Required After Training: Prong Collar, Elevated Dog Bed, E-Collar (all additional items are available for purchase at Rocky Ridge Dog Training Academy).
PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept puppies under 14 weeks of age and all dogs accepted to the program MUST have proof of current vaccination records.
Private Lessons
1 hour private lessons
Our one-on-one private lessons are custom made to your specific needs and held either in your home or mutually agreeable location.
Duration: 1 Hour
Cost: $100.00
This class is also offered for $80.00 if meeting at the Brooklin Fire Department
Boarding
Clients Only
Our boarding program is really a vacation for your dog!
Each day your dog is boarded at Rocky Ridge Dog Training Academy, they'll have;
* Substantial outdoor time (weather permitted) in one of our large outdoor runs
* Leashed walks/hikes
* Social interaction with Maxine's dog Ruger
* Kenneled at night in Ruffland kennels with comfortable Primo pads
* Unlimited toys and tennis balls to play with
* Two scheduled feedings per day
* Homemade healthy treats
* Any necessary trainings and tune-ups
Pricing: 1 dog $50.00 per day, 2 or more dogs $40.00 each per day.
What You'll Need to Bring: Prong collar, dog food and any medications if applicable.
Deer & Antler Detection
Coming this Fall
Our Deer & Antler Detection class teaches both you and your pet on how to find deer antlers and pick up on deer scent in the woods.
This class will be limited to 6 owners/pets per class.
