4-WEEK BOARD & TRAIN
We just sent our dog, Duke, to Maxine for the board and training. First off, I was upset about missing him while he would be gone and she was so kind at putting me at ease. I could tell that she truly cares about the dogs she takes in. The weekly visits to go over what he had learned were so great. It was amazing to see the progress. He has come back to us as a well mannered boy! It is even more of a joy to have him in my life now. Maxine knows what she is doing and she's such a sweetheart too! I had almost given up on my dog after trying to train him myself with the help of YouTube videos. Maxine showed me how to train the right way and I immediately saw a difference in my dog! Maxine worked miracles with my Khloe. Khloe was very standoffish and aggressive towards men, working with Maxine for the 6 week in home training and taking Khloe to Home Depot and Tractor Supply, I saw Khloe's confidence grow each time and Khloe overcome her fear and aggression towards men! Gracie and I just completed the 6-Week Basic Obedience class. From day one, Maxine was super friendly, helpful and encouraging. She is also very confident and knowledgeable. Maxine takes the time to not only show you "how to", but to also explain the "why" behind it. She is truly invested in your success and cares about the relationship between you and your pet. Almost every lesson we had went over our allotted time, but Maxine never rushed us through the trainings.

Wanted to write a review on the best dog trainer ever! Maxine Friend is awesome. We haven't quite finished our classes yet, but Luna heels, sits, doesn't pull and is good in stores like Home Depot. Her barking inside my house when she hears, or thinks she hears something is the only thing we haven't cured yet. This is because we haven't followed up like we were supposed to. Once she has her training collar and leash on it works. We need to do better. Maxine is great! Ten stars!
